Florida Beach House Weddings

Lots of people believe that the beach is the most romantic and fun place to get married. We certainly do. And that’s the reason my wife and I got married on the beach, and lots of other couples do too. We see beautiful beach weddings on the beach almost any afternoon we go for a beach walk.

The Ultimate Florida Beach Wedding is renting a house on the beach and having the ceremony and reception right there, all in one place, with all your family and friends.

But weddings of any kind–especially beach weddings–can be a real bear to plan, and finding just the right beach house to accommodate a wedding party takes a specialized knowledge of what’s available.

A couple of years ago I met Jeff and Claire Copeland. Jeff and his wife Claire–a fabulous Tampa Bay area portrait photographer–started a small business arranging simple beach weddings. In fact, that’s the name of their business–Simple Weddings–and it has turned into an award-winning full-service wedding planning business with many happy couples. They arrange weddings of all kinds from the Tampa Bay area south to the Fort Myers/Sanibel area, Naples and Marco Island.

Have lots of family and friends coming to your beach house wedding? No worries. The Sunset Beach House, for instance, can accommodate over 100 guests for a reception and sleeps up to 20.

Coquina Haven, on Indian Rocks Beach is a 1920’s two-story beach bungalow that sleeps up to 14 adults and can accommodate up to 50 guests for a reception.

That’s just two of their choice locations. Visit their web site to find a Florida beach house for your wedding.

Jeff and Claire have been advertisers on my web site, BeachHunter.net, for several years. I’ve gotten to know Jeff pretty well and met him and Claire in person at the grand opening of their new Simple Weddings store front in St. Petersburg, Florida. So when my close friend Desiree left her wedding planning and floral design job in Miami and moved back to St. Petersburg, I knew she would be a perfect fit for Simple Weddings. I made the introductions and now Desiree Munera is part of the family at Simple Weddings. She is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to weddings, so I know the kind of quality service you can expect to receive. But the real proof is in the dozens of glowing reviews they’ve received on Onewed.com.
