Beach Survival Guide Presentation at 17th Annual Seabean Symposium & Beachcombers’ Festival

I’ll be presenting my Beach Survival Guide during the Seabean Symposium at the Cocoa Beach Public Library on Friday, October 12 from 2-3pm. I’ll be speaking about hazards at the beach and how to deal with the risks. Topics include sharks, jellyfish, stingrays, rip currents, and drowning, as well as some of the less obvious and less publicized hazards. Stop by and say hello!

The Seabean Symposium is a free event at the Cocoa Beach Public Library and is open to the public. Displays and collections will be open to the public Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 9pm.
