I discovered a great beach blog tonight (actually, my other half, Sue, discovered it and told me about it). It’s a blog about beach life on Sanibel Island and has a strong nature focus. The blog is called Sanibel Toot’s Lazy Days and you can find it at http://sanibeltoots.blogspot.com/.
Sanibel Toots shot the video above of the loggerhead turtle hatchling on its way from the nest to the beach. Have a look at the video and you will begin to appreciate the long and perilous journey the little hatchlings must make to reach the water. It seems like he’s NEVER going to make it!
