It’s quite a drive to get here, but the shelling is quite good and the crowds are kept in check by the limited parking. This beach is mostly used by the South Seas Island Resort, which occupies the northern tip of Captiva Island. There are lots of coconut palms, some beautiful houses, and if you don’t mind walking almost three miles from the parking area you can see Redfish Pass, which separates Captiva Island from North Captiva, reachable only by boat or private plane.
