If you’re a fan of Terry Tomalin, outdoors writer for the St. Petersburg Times, you don’t need me to tell you that this book belongs in your hands.
If you like the Florida outdoors and lean toward adventure activities, this book is likely to be a must for your library. Since I don’t have a copy, I can’t give it a proper review here, but based on Terry’s writing, I wouldn’t need a review to buy it.
Hear Tomalin speak this weekend at the St. Petersburg Times Festival of Reading at the St. Petersburg USF Campus. He will be speaking about his book at 11:15 in the USF Science & Tech building room #123, according to the published schedule. Tomalin will be signing books from 1pm to 3pm.
Visit the publisher’s web site below for details about the book and to read a chapter for free:
The book is available for pre-order on the publisher’s web site, but apparently you can pick up a copy by dropping by the Festival of Reading. Sure wish I could go, but I’ve other commitments.
