Saturday we took a bike ride on the Pinellas Trail. We parked the car on the Dunedin Causeway just outside of Honeymoon Island State Park, then rode our bikes east along the causeway to its intersection with the Pinellas Trail, which is a 30 mile-long scenic bike / pedestrian trail in Pinellas County that runs from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs.
We followed the trail south into downtown Dunedin where we had lunch at Cafe Alfresco on Old Main Street. I highly recommend their sesame encrusted salmon salad and their pineapple upside-down cake is the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
Then back on the trail to Honeymoon Island where we took a walk on the beach and I took a little nap on a wooden swing. Here are a few photos of what we saw:

Clearwater Beach high rise buildings as seen from Honeymoon Island's Nature Center deck. The greenery just to the left of all the buildings is Caladesi Island State Park.
