Dr. Blair Witherington is a scientist with Florida Fish & Wildlife with a profound knowledge of beach life and beachcombing. He is an active researcher of sea turtles and the author of many of my favorite books.
Dawn Witherington is a very talented artist and devoted naturalist.
Together they make a fabulous team, exploring and documenting the nature of our coasts and oceans.
They will be giving a presentation on shelling / beachcombing on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. The talks are scheduled for 10 am and 1 pm according to the article in the News Press. Here’s the link for more information:
