Today Sue and I took a day cruise out of Captiva to Cabbage Key in Pine Island Sound on The Lady Chadwick. We had a great day with beautiful weather and we saw lots of dolphins. Several times during the day the dolphins entertained us by jumping in the boat’s wake. We were encouraged to make lots of noise as that seems to entice the dolphins to jump.
For those who may not be familiar, these are wild dolphins and are not fed or trained. Feeding wild dolphins is illegal. They just like to follow boats and jump in the wake.
