Holding a live baby 'gator on the Babcock Wilderness tour bus.
On my recent trip to the Babcock Wilderness Adventures just outside of Punta Gorda, I got to hold a live juvenile alligator. Actually everyone on the bus got to hold the ‘gator. After we finished walking through a shady cypress swamp (on a boardwalk), and seeing two captive (former pets) panthers, we got back on the tour bus and waited for our tour guide and driver, Cheryl. She appeared with this 3 foot long baby gator and gave a quick lesson on ‘gator habits.
