Digiscoped Scrub Jay
Have you heard of digiscoping? I hadn’t until I read the catalog of the 12 Annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival being held right now in Titusville, Florida. Digiscoping involves taking a photograph through the lens of your binoculars, telescope, or spotting scope. There are special mounting brackets made for cameras to help you align the image properly. Still, I think it is quite a challenge.

(Click photo to see original) It’s not the best quality photo and I’m wondering if she took it with her cell phone camera and emailed it to Twitpic from afield. Fresh bird.
