When one of my web site advertisers casually mentioned that they had some “health issues” in 2010, I quietly hoped that it was not serious, and true to my McRee nature, I did not pry.
Claire Copeland is a fabulous photographer and Jeff is a very astute businessman, a real go-getter. I suspect that neither of them experiences many failures, and when they do, they don’t let it slow them down.
I “met” Jeff a year or so ago when he contacted me about advertising their portrait photography and beach wedding services on my web site, BeachHunter.net
After seeing photos and video of their work, I was happy to have them become a part of BeachHunter.
So, it was a shock to me to get an email from Jeff one day asking me to have a look at his wife Claire’s web page and read about her battle against breast cancer, and possibly make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in support of her 3-Day For the Cure 60 mile walk.
I was happy to do that. And I encourage you, dear reader, to read her story.
It’s not long.
It’s uplifting.
And I would not be surprised if you found that reading it benefits you personally.
