A little-known part of Don Pedro Island is The Preserve of Don Pedro, a small “undeveloped development” of 39 homesites on large lots next to Don Pedro State Park. There are a few luxury homes built and occupied but the rest of The Preserve is still natural virgin land. At this point the island is only about 1600 feet wide. On one side is the Intracoastal Waterway; on the other is the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The community is gated with land access only by golf cart (or foot or bicycle) from the rest of Don Pedro Island . Access is available for utility and emergency vehicles. If you’re looking for privacy, this is it!
