During the swell from Hurricane Dean back in 2007 I happened to be shooting video of the surfers in Blind Pass, which rarely breaks. Blind Pass is a narrow and relatively shallow pass between the north end of St. Pete Beach (aka Upham Beach) and the south end of Treasure Island (aka Sunset Beach).
