Solise Moisturizing Body Wash and Sunscreen in one. SPF 15.

Solise Moisturizing Body Wash and Sunscreen in one. SPF 15.

From time to time I encounter products that I think would be of interest to beach people. Solise is one of those products, and is made in the USA. The company sent me a sample to try and I really like it.

The skin doc has told me in no uncertain terms that I am not to go out of the house without sunscreen. I’m not too good at complying with that order. Who wants to slather on sunblock every time they run an errand?

Solise Moisturizing Body Wash with sunscreen solves that problem. Now during my morning shower I use Solise on my face, neck and arms. It leaves a moisturizing SPF 15 on my skin without making me feel like a greased pig, so I don’t have to worry about putting on sun screen daily–it’s just a natural part of my morning shower.

Of course, if I’m going to put in some serious time in the sun (kayaking, shelling, swimming, walking the beach, etc) I make sure to put on some serious sunscreen (SPF 50+).

I’ve been using it pretty much every day for several weeks. It delivers. It has a mild fragrance–sort of beachy–but it doesn’t make me smell like a girl (that would be bad). I do avoid getting it too close to my eyes, because like most any cleanser, it can sting the eyes a bit.

Solise Body Wash is great for men and women and is safe for children (in fact it was developed to make it easier to get sunscreen on children).

Here are some of the product details from the manufacturer/distributor:

  • Cleanses and protects skin with a unique patent-pending formula with SPF 15 sunscreen.
  • Daily UVA / UVB sun protection.
  • Not greasy.
  • Hypoallergenic.
  • Skin Cancer Foundation recommended.
  • Dermatologist tested.
  • Does not clog skin pores.
  • Paraben free.
  • Anti-aging.
  • Not tested on animals and contains no animal by-products.

The product is used just like any other body wash. The sunscreen bonds to your skin’s natural oils and does not wash off during your shower.  My 8 ounce tube has lasted for weeks because I only use it on my face, neck, arms and hands. A little bit goes a long way.

Note: I do not have any financial interest in the sale of this product. I was provided with a free 8 oz sample to test, and have given my honest assessment of it. I recieve products to review fairly frequently. Not all of them are useful or noteworthy enough to feature on my blog. This one is.

Now there’s a great way to get the advantages of sunscreen, without all the gloppy, oily mess! I, like you, am not fond of the messiness of the whole process. Sunscreen sprays are a great thing, but I’m afraid they do leave you ‘smelling like a girl’!
A body wash is the ideal way for application to kids for sure.
It’s good to know that it actually works! I like the fact that it’s paraben free too and that’s certainly a big plus for me! So many of the cheapie brands unfortunately have paraben.
I thank you for the recommendation for this product.
Any idea where the product can be purchased?

I thought perhaps it might be available at a retail store. Mail order is fine too.
Great find. Thank you!
