It is wonderful to read of success stories like Anna Maria island, where the residents who live there care about taking responsibility for their actions and how they might affect the rest of creation. When I think of how blessed people are to be able to live right ON the beach, I think of the expression "to whom much is given, much is expected". It's such a little thing, to keep your lights off during nesting season, but it makes such a huge difference...it is sad to hear of such irresponsible places as Pinellas County, but it gives me hope to hear about AM island. If I was lucky enough to live anywhere nearby, you can be sure I'd be lending a hand. Thanks for sharing so I can live vicariously!!
