An Evening Walk at Fort Desoto Beach

Had my nose to the grindstone all day, but managed to finish up some client work that wraps up a long project. I needed to get out of the house so I drove out to Fort Desoto Park for an evening walk.  Snapped a few photos.

The tide was really low and there were several tide pools being worked over by the willets, sanderlings, and ruddy turnstones.

White ibises take on the warm glow of sunset.

The sunset was slightly muted by a thick low cloud bank, but beautiful nonetheless. I'll take it.

I feel much more relaxed now.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting rose. The world would be a better place if everyone could take a walk by the sea now and then.
