When I served as the Beach & Surf Expert for VISITFLORIDA.com I had the pleasure of meeting Lucy Beebe Tobias, a very talented writer and adventurer. She’s traveled all over Florida in search of the “real” Florida. You know, Florida B.D. (Before Disney).

Lucy and I recently gave a presentation of our books at the St. Pete Beach Public Library. Above is a photo I took when Lucy was presenting. She gave a lively and interesting account of her favorite discoveries in her travels around the state. She really knows her stuff.
