I was visiting the Indialantic / Melbourne Beach area over the summer and spent several nights at the Crowne Plaza, courtesy of General Manager Tom Poehailos.  It’s a beautiful hotel right on the Atlantic Ocean and was the perfect place for me to base my beachhunting operations. I went on a turtle walk facilitated by the Sea Turtle Preservation Society, spent half a day taking beach and wildlife photographs with Jim Angy, explored all the Indialantic beach accesses, and generally had a great time. Discovered some great places to eat too.

Sometimes I'm so busy exploring beaches that I forget to just sit down and relax. Here I am relaxing for a while on the wooden deck overlooking the beach at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach.

Check out my photos and comments about my stay at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach at my BeachHunter.net web site. If you follow the previous link you’ll also find a short video clip of the excellent live jazz band playing on the deck. I shot the video from my 3rd floor balcony. The sound is awesome.

FTC Disclosure of Material Connections – I stayed several nights at the Crowne Plaza, compliments of hotel management.
